Goplinchua Prospect

Light pink to light yellow tuffite shows variation in its grain size and is intruded by thin quartz veins. . The width of prospect varies from 200 to 500 m. The quartz veins with widths varying from 5 to 50 m are sheared and pulverized. Fine grains and flakes of gold visible to the naked eye have been observed in the pan concentrates obtained by panning of 5 kg of colluvial soil samples collected from western slope of the shear zone. Rock samples have yielded <0.1 ppm Au and 1 ppm for Ag (G.S.I.).

Follow-up Program

As per Mr. Russell Birrell recommendations a total of 469 soil samples were collected from four prospects i.e. Hidder (130 – 10 lines); Bodal (65 – 6 lines); Dumartola (A) (46 – 7 lines); Dumartola (B) (88 – 6 lines); Jobtola (150 – 9 lines) in June 2005 and shipped to ALS Chemex Australia for analytical work on October 8, 2005. The specific aim of the second phase of sampling was to allow definition of geochemically anomalous zones and their prioritization for geophysical and drill evaluation. The detailed geochemical work will help the company to undertake detailed geophysical and geological work; environmental pollution studies and to locate diamond drill holes. Barfanisai expects funding from CIDA Inc. who becomes a joint venture partners.
